I am an Experienced Pet Care Virtual Assistant
Before building The Pet Digital, I spent years working as a virtual assistant supporting pet businesses across boarding, pet sitting, grooming, and other pet care services. I managed schedules, client communication, software implementation, documentation, onboarding, and daily operations. Many of the challenges I help solve today are challenges I've personally experienced while working behind the scenes.
I've Seen What Happens When Everything Lives in the Owner's Head
One thing I've consistently observed is that many businesses rely heavily on the owner to keep everything moving. Processes are undocumented, knowledge lives in conversations, and team members depend on constant direction. This works until growth creates complexity. That's where systems become important.
I've Worked With Businesses at Different Stages
Not every business needs the same solution. I've had the opportunity to work with pet businesses at different stages of growth—from startups building systems from scratch to established companies that have been serving clients for decades, long before I was born. Those experiences taught me that successful solutions are rarely one-size-fits-all. They need to fit the business, the people, and the goals behind them.
I Understand Both the Business and the Team Perspective
Having onboarded team members, documented processes, implemented software, and supported daily operations, I've learned that the success of any system depends on the people using it. When evaluating processes, I consider the team's experience, comfort with technology, responsibilities, and workflow—not just what looks efficient on paper. My goal is to create systems that businesses can realistically adopt, maintain, and grow with.
I Believe Systems Should Reduce Dependence, Not Create It
The goal of a good system isn't to make a business dependent on a specific person, tool, or process. The goal is to create clarity, consistency, and continuity so the business can operate more effectively even as teams grow and change.
I Respect That Every Business Owner Has a Different Vision
Not every business wants to become a large company. Some owners want growth. Others want more freedom, better organization, or a less stressful operation. My role isn't to define success for a business owner—it's to help build systems that support the version of success they're working toward.
Why I Started Pet Digital
I started my career as a Virtual Assistant for a pet boarding facility, where I supported customer service, scheduling, staff coordination, and administrative operations. Through this experience, I had the opportunity to work closely with pet business owners across boarding, pet sitting, grooming, daycare, and training, giving me a deeper understanding of how these businesses operate and the important role they play in the lives of pets and their owners.
As my experience grew, so did the type of work I was doing. What started as administrative support evolved into helping business owners improve workflows, support marketing initiatives, build websites, organize systems, and execute projects.
Through that experience, I noticed a common challenge across many pet businesses. Many owners understand the importance of having a stronger digital presence, better systems, and more efficient ways of working, but often lack the time, resources, or support needed to make those improvements happen.
Over the years, I found myself stepping beyond traditional administrative support and becoming more involved in helping businesses tackle those challenges. Whether it was improving websites, organizing systems, supporting marketing initiatives, implementing software, or helping move projects forward, I enjoyed finding practical solutions that made the business easier to manage and operate.
The more I worked on these initiatives, the more I realized that helping businesses navigate digital challenges was where I could create the most value.
My academic background in Associate of Arts in Digital Entrepreneurship further reinforced this direction, strengthening my understanding of how technology, systems, and digital tools can support business growth and innovation.
Pet Digital was created to help bridge that gap by supporting pet businesses with the digital projects, systems, and initiatives that help them operate more effectively and move forward.

Business Summary & Introductory Letter
Created a comprehensive business summary document and transformed it into a professional introductory letter used during client meet-and-greets, helping communicate services, company background, and key business information.
Social Media Management
Managed Facebook and Instagram accounts for a dog walking business, including content scheduling, posting, community engagement, and maintaining a consistent online presence.
School Event Research & Outreach
Researched local school and community events, identified sponsorship opportunities, and conducted outreach for raffle participation and brand visibility for a pet sitting company.
Client Meet & Greet Tracking System
Created a centralized spreadsheet system for a pet daycare and boarding facility to track upcoming, completed, and canceled client meet-and-greets across three pet boarding locations while assigning follow-ups to managers.
Administrative Task Tracking System
Developed a daily administrative task tracking process using spreadsheets and email workflows to improve visibility and communication among team members.
Staff Communication System Setup
Implemented team communication channels using Discord and Slack for a pet sitting company to improve internal collaboration, scheduling, pet and client information sharing.
